Phone verification error: "This phone number has exceeded limits" when generating API key

Hello NVIDIA Developer Forums,

I’m experiencing an issue with the phone number verification step while trying to generate an API key. The platform blocks me from sending the verification code, claiming I have exceeded limits, even though I have not received any SMS messages yet.

My details:
Country: Indonesia
Phone prefix: +62
Troubleshooting tried: I have already tried multiple different phone numbers (different SIM cards/carriers), but ALL of them return the exact same “exceeded limits” error on the very first attempt.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Access the NVIDIA Developer platform to generate an API key.
  2. Reach the phone verification step (“We’ll need to verify your phone number”).
  3. Enter the Indonesian phone number and click “Send Code to Phone”.
  4. Immediate error message appears: “This phone number has exceeded limits, please try a different phone number or try again later.”

Expected: An SMS verification code is sent promptly to a +62 Indonesian number.
Actual: The system immediately blocks the request with an “exceeded limits” error across all tested numbers, and no SMS is received at all.

I’m wondering if NVIDIA’s SMS provider has strict rate-limiting filters or incomplete support for certain Indonesian mobile networks. Has anyone from Indonesia faced this issue? Is there a workaround available? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
