Hello NVIDIA Support Team / Moderators,
I am trying to register/verify my account on build.nvidia.com to generate an API key for NVIDIA NIM, but I am stuck at the phone verification step.
Details:
- This is my very first attempt to create an NVIDIA developer account and verify this phone number. I have never used this number or email for any NVIDIA registration before.
- Country/Region: China (+86)
- Phone Number: +8615272369794 (I entered it exactly as +8615272369794 with no spaces or extra characters)
- Email associated with the account: zhoulibin972@gmail.com
- Error Message (exact): “This phone number has exceeded limits, please try a different phone number or try again later.”
- Description: As soon as I select China and input the number, the error appears immediately. I have not received any SMS/OTP code at all, and I have only tried once (or very few times, no spam attempts). I have cleared browser cache, tried different browsers/networks (Wi-Fi and mobile data), waited 24+ hours, but the issue persists.
This seems to be a common false positive or system bug for many +86 China numbers recently (I saw similar threads in the forum like “/t/this-phone-number-has-exceeded-limits-in-china-and-use-86/363110” and others).
Could you please help me by:
- Manually resetting the verification limit for this phone number, or
- Whitelisting my number (+8615272369794) so I can complete the SMS verification and generate the API key?
I would greatly appreciate any assistance, as I need access for my AI/development projects.
