PhysX cloth 3.2.2, bad floaty behavior

I created a test cloth dress on a walk cycle and the skirt is very floaty.

I’ve been trying to modify the parameters, but that does not seem to
remove the problem.

I’m wondering if there is something more obscure that I might be missing.
I applied the cloth parameters from the cape example in SampleCharacterCloth.

For example, would feeding in a bad target pose produce this behavior?

I’m going to try to port my animation and garment from Linux to a
windows Maya file and test the same setup in APEX as a test.

The fix to my problem was that I needed to add a lot of motion constraints and that
seemed to stabilize things. Not completely ideal.

After playing with APEX, which is much, much better behaved. I must have some other issue.
