Pinmux template v1.1: cannot disable 3.3V tolerance after setting pin to Unused (cells protected)

Hello NVIDIA team,

I’m using the “Jetson_Orin_NX_and_Orin_Nano_series_Pinmux_Config_Template_v1.1.xlsm” pinmux Excel workbook.

If I set a pin that has “3.3V Tolerance” enabled to “Unused” (in “Customer Usage”), the sheet raises an error: “3.3V Tolerance cannot be enabled on an Unused Pin”. The intended fix seems to be manually changing “3.3V Tolerance Enable” to “Disable” to clear the error.

However, all the “3.3V Tolerance Enable” cells appear to be protected, and I cannot edit them (“The cell you’re trying to change is on a protected sheet”). Because the error remains, DT generation is blocked.

Is there:

  • an updated template version / known fix, or

  • an official way to unprotect the relevant cells (password or other method), or

  • a recommended workaround (e.g., keeping the pin configured as GPIO input instead of “Unused”)?

See the following screenshots:

Thanks in advance.

Hi pmnx,

Thank you for reporting this issue.
Please let me check with internal team and update the result to you.

Hi, any updates? We’re also waiting on a fix to generate files for our own Orin NX carrier board. We can’t disable 3V3 tolerance for some GPIOs.

We’ve updated v1.2 pinmux spreadsheet for Orin NX/Nano as following.

Please simply download it from Jetson Download Center

Thank you @KevinFFF.

I confirm we can now edit “3.3V Tolerance Enable” cells with v1.2 of the pinmux workbook.
