Please help review our Jetson AGX Orin UPHY configuration and PCIe lane assignment

Hi NVIDIA team,

We are designing a custom carrier board for Jetson AGX Orin.

The attached image shows our planned UPHY configuration and lane assignment.

Our design is:

UPHY0: Configuration #2

• C0 x1 → Intel I226-IT
• USB 3.2 P2 → RTS5420 USB 3.2 Hub
• C1 x1 → M.2 Key E
• C4 x4 → M.2 Key M

UPHY1: Configuration #1

• C5 is configured as PCIe x8 Root Port.
• We only route Lane 0 and Lane 1 as PCIe x2 to an ASM2806I PCIe switch.

UPHY2: Configuration #2

• C7 is configured as PCIe x8 Root Port.
• We only route Lane 0 as PCIe x1 to an M.2 Key B connector.

Could you please confirm whether this UPHY configuration and lane assignment are supported on Jetson AGX Orin, especially:

1. Using C5 as PCIe x2 with only Lane 0 and Lane 1 connected.
2. Using C7 as PCIe x1 with only Lane 0 connected.

Please let us know if you see any issue with this hardware configuration.
