Power input to PX2 for vehicle installation

Hi,

We would like to install the PX2 in the vehicle. We monitored that the voltage from the battery and alternator of the vehicle range from 12Vdc to 14Vdc. Do we need to use regulator to give a constant 12 Vdc to the PX2? Assuming that we also connect the TP6KE33A Diode as suggested in the Mechanical and Installation Guide page 10.

PX2 power design follow ISO16750-2 standard, directly to vehicle is fine, fuse suggested.
