Power-on Design Custom Carrier Board Xavier NX

Hi NVidia Team

Can we use the power on/off logic Design of the Nano DevKit for a Xavier NX Design? In the comparison guide, we did not found a reason that this is not possible.
Thank you.

Sure, it is same on both designs.

Hi Trumany

Thank you for your answer. On both DevKit Designs, there is no discharge circuit for the 1V8 power rails. Is this not anymore necessary as it is for the Jetson Xavier? Can we use the SYS_RESET* signal directly for the discharge of the VDD_3V3_SYS or does it need a buffer?

No need to add discharge design for 1v8 and 3v3 as its logic is different to Xavier.

Update: For the design that totally follows the power part design of nano devkit, the discharge is not must. For other custom designs, the discharge is necessary. Customer can refer to discharge chapter in current Design Guide and the VDD_3V3_SYS RAIL DISCHARGE circuit in P3509_A01 schematic for custom design. The key point is not to violate the power sequence as listed in DG, that is to guarantee the carrier rails of shared I/O will power off earlier than module rails during power down.
