Power Source: Undersized

Hi, I have my Laptop MSI GT73EVR-7RF with Arch Linux 6.4.12-arch1-1 and the GPUI GeForce GTX 1080: NVIDIA-SMI 535.104.05 | Driver Version: 535.104.05 | CUDA Version: 12.2.

Problem:

Everything starts up fine and I have close to 200W maximum power capacity. The parameter “GPUPowerSource = 0” which is AC.

If I disconnect the laptop from the electrical current, the parameter “GPUPowerSource = 1” which is battery. Going down to 45W maximum power capacity.

However, if I reconnect the laptop to the electrical current, it shows me the parameter “GPUPowerSource = 2” which is undersized, maintaining 45W maximum power capacity.

If I disconnect the laptop from the electrical current, again, the parameter “GPUPowerSource = 1”, keeps the maximum at 45W.

If I reconnect the laptop to the electrical current, the parameter is still “GPUPowerSource = 2”, it keeps the maximum at 45W.

PowerMizer
Power Source: Undersized
Default TGP: N/A
Max TGP: N/A

Command to read the GPU power supply:
nvidia-settings -q GPUPowerSource -t

The question is how to fix it. I mean, I would rather not reboot Linux every time the GPU go back to the undersized power. Furthermore, this problem happened if I got turned on the computer for a couple of days.

Do you know how to set / edit the GPUPoweredSource to 0 (AC power source)?
Or what fixes need to recognize the electrical power again?
