Hello there,
I’m currently building an autonomous robotic dog. For the power I have a big 5000mAh 6s rc LiPo. I have a connected a large dc step down converter in parallel for my 12 rc servos (7.4V). I want to power more electronics from the LiPo, such as lights, sensors, esp32 and raspberry pi. I need help on how i can safely connect my Jetson Orin Nano Dev Kit to the battery without any risk of damaging it. I guess i need a good dc converter, smoothing capacitor and maybe a fuse. Can someone provide product recommendations? And I’m not exactly sure how to wire the different components to be save from voltage spikes and other risks of damaging the expensive Dev Kit.
Hope someone has such experience can be shared. For Orin nano devkit, the power supply voltage level is 9-20V which means devkit won’t be damaged with power supply <20V.
Thanks for your reply. I’m aware of the voltage the orin nano needs. But how do i “isolate” it from the other cicuits, so that voltage spikes or other unwanted occurances do not damage it?
We don’t have suggetion on that. It needs you to design a circuit to avoid that.
