Hello.
How compatible is the Asus PA-1650-66 power supply for the Jetson Xavier NX, replacing the stock Liteon PA-1450-26 power supply that came with the Jetson?
It so happened that the stock power supply for the Jetson Xavier NX died when I tried to charge a Lenovo IdeaPad S110 netbook (I couldn’t find the stock power supply for the netbook right away, so I decided to use the Jetson’s power supply instead). When I connected the Jetson’s power supply to the netbook, a spark appeared in the netbook’s power connector, and the Jetson’s power supply died.
If I remember correctly (if my memory serves me correctly), somewhere here on the forum a long time ago there was a mention that using a power supply with a higher current output could physically damage the Jetson Xavier NX board.
Power Supply Specifications.
- PSU included with the Jetson Xavier NX (Liteon PA-1450-26): 19V x 2.37A (RIP);
- New PSU for Asus devices (PA-1650-66): 19V x 3.42A;
- PSU included with the Lenovo IdeaPad S110 netbook (CPA09-A03): 20V x 1.5A.
P.S. If my thread was created in the wrong section of the forum, please move it to the appropriate section.
Thanks in advance,
Evgeny.
