Previous releases of the PhysX SDK

I’m interested in locating previous versions of the PhysX SDK.

This is purely for an educational perspective on how the API changed over time. I’ve also found that starting from a version tends to be simpler to understand. I’ve done/doing a similar thing with DirectX and also the OpenGL APIs.

I have done a bit of Googling but everything really just returns the current version. Is there anywhere I can acquire such resources?

The correct way to acquire previous version of the SDK is from the Nvidia PhysX developer website. There should be version 2.8.X available.

Is that as far back as previous versions go? I’m aware that original versions were authoured before NVIDIA acquired Ageia.

Latest “old” version avaialble officially is 2.8.4, afaik.

Apart from that, there was:
NVIDIA timeframe - Physx SDK 2.8.1 - 2.8.4 and 3.x
Ageia timeframe - PhysX SDK 2.3 - 2.8
Pre-Ageia - Novodex SDK

But it is up to you to find those.
