Problem connecting lidar to NVIDIA Drive AGX

Hi, I’m having some issues connecting a lidar to the NVIDIA Drive AGX. The recommended steps to take when connecting the lidar is to set the IP of the PC to 192.168.0.2 (with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0), and the lidar status page should show up on 192.168.0.3 through a web browser.

The AGX is currently running Xubuntu 18.04.5, and the lidar is connected to the eth0 port, with its IP configured to 192.168.0.2 (by editing /etc/network/interfaces). I have verified that this IP is assigned to eth0 by checking ifconfig. After this, I should be able to access the lidar status page by going to 192.168.0.3 on the web browser, but it does not show up. I am also unable to ping 192.168.0.3.

I have replicated these exact same steps with success on an x86 desktop running Ubuntu 18.04, and also a Jetson Nano running Ubuntu 18.04. Could this possibly be an issue with the operating system, or is there something else? Thanks in advance.

I don’t see it as part of supported lidars list in DRIVE OS 5.2.6 + DW 4.0(DRIVE Ecosystem - Hardware and Software | NVIDIA Developer)

Hi @SivaRamaKrishnaNV is it possible to purchase more E3579 dongles? basically we would like to connect multple ethernet sensors but the E3579 dongle can support only two sensors
