problem in flashing the Tegra TK1

Hi1
I am flashing my new custom board using this method

but i see in the terminal that i got stucked at Nvflash 4.13.0000 started. i think it took about 20 minutes and do nothing so i disconnect it as on the manual it is written that it should be completed with in 10 minutes.
it also do not show anything on its serial terminal

Nvflash 4.13.0000 started

The flash goes over the micro-B USB cable (at USB2 speeds), which by itself is not fast. Then it has to go through the eMMC. 10 or 20 minutes might not be long enough. According to the logs everything was valid up to the point the log ends. That activity up until that point was simply preparing for the flash rather than the actual flash being in progress. So all time until the final log line is not actually flash. I would suggest giving it 30 minutes just to be sure, starting from when the “Nvflash 4.13.0000 started” occurs. Most likely it’ll be significantly less than that, but 30 minutes is reasonable given that changes in the rootfs can change how long the flash takes.

The serial console would typically show some activity, so this might have meaning. However, if settings are not correct, then you wouldn’t see anything anyway. Even though the time seemed long try letting it flash for half an hour after the actual flash begins. Perhaps the custom board just has a device tree change required for serial console.
