Problem installing nvidia-peer-memory: Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 4.15.0-161-generic (aarch64)

Hi!
I am trying to install Nvidia peer memory in order to perform GPU-direct program.

When I’m running: " dpkg -i " as described in the README file from github, I get errors:

"

Setting up nvidia-peer-memory-dkms (1.2-0) …

I have 4.9.201-tegra and not 4.15.0-161-generic. What is this error?

I am running on Jetson AGX Xavier with ConnectX3-Pro.

What can I do?

Where exactly (which site address) did you download this from?
Can it support on AGX Xavier - kernel 4.9?

Hi,
I downloaded it from GitHub - Mellanox/nv_peer_memory

We never tried that, please check below thread to see if can help: Problem installing nvidia_peer_memory kernel driver on Ubuntu - #4 by tongyixuanjames
