Problem with wifi on TX2

Hi
I’m new to the forum.

My TX2 can use and configure a wired network. It was okay a few days ago, and I didn’t know what was set, now it can’t connect to wifi.
The wifi login option cannot be found in the upper right corner of the interface;
Enter “iwconfig” display “wlan0 no wireless extensions”;
Enter “sudo ifconfig wlan0 up” and password display Nothing.
When I enter “rfkill unblock all” and restart , wifi is also not working.
Can you help?
Thanks in advance

Hi,

My TX2 can use and configure a wired network. It was okay a few days ago, and I didn’t know what was set, now it can’t connect to wifi.

This statement seems not give out much info here. You configured a “wired” network and it was okay few days. Then the wifi is not working. It sounds like wifi is not able to work in the beginning?

  1. Do you see wlan0 in ifconfig?
  2. Could you share the result of “rfkill list”
  3. Could you paste the kernel log by command “dmesg”? Please make sure the forum system does not truncate your log.
  1. I have always been able to use a wired network. I used to use wifi, but now it doesn’t work.I have configured a wired network to make the balser camera work, but I have not modified the wireless settings.
  2. I enter “ifconfig” and I cannot see wlan0.
  3. I enter “rfkill list” and the result is as follows.
  4. Do you have a detailed log operation method, I have not used Ubuntu for a long time.

Looks like wlan0 is gone.

  1. Do you have a detailed log operation method, I have not used Ubuntu for a long time.

Please boot up your tegra and then type command “dmesg” and then share the result here. Please make sure the forum system does not truncate your log.

Attached is the content of dmesg.
The problem was that before the Spring Festival, I didn’t use the equipment during the Spring Festival.
The timing of the device was wrong and I didn’t fix it.
dmesg.txt (74.6 KB)

Below log looks weird. Could you try to reflash your board and see if wlan0 could get back?

How can I reflash my board? I only have a windows pc and TX2 at now.
Will it break existing software and program code?

  1. Please try to find a ubutnu host to do the reflash.
  2. Please make a backup if anything important.

We have to make sure whether your wifi problem is a hardware issue or not. Re-flash is the fastest method.

To avoid pneumonia, we have to work from home, so there is no ubuntu computer.
I have a wifi device with a usb interface, but nothing happens when I plug it in.
Can I use it to verify software or hardware, or use it to get online.
