Problems installing Cuda 2.1 Beta. Bug?

I think there’s a bug in Cuda 2.1 Beta installer. After trying to install Cuda 2.1 Beta i get error saying “The NVIDIA Setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit”

I’ve installed Cuda 2.0 without any problems.

I’m using Sony Vaio VGNFZ21SR with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS with Windows Vista Ultimate x64. And i think the problem exists because my graphic card refuses to use NVidia’s drivers and i have to use the ones I’ve downloaded from Sony website.

Most likely Sony’s driver package doesn’t include a CUDA driver. Unless you can reproduce this problem with the CUDA_2.1 display driver package, this isn’t a CUDA bug.

But version 2.0 installed without problems!

Version 2.0 of what?

As I stated already, if this problem persists with the NVIDIA display driver package from NVIDIA’s website, then there might be a bug. You would need to contact Sony about what they’re offering on their website.

Sony told me it wasn’t its fault (I don’t think so).

So, I installed a Linux and I could use CUDA without any problem.
