# Problems to create the OTA payload using the steps in the guide

Hi all,

I’m trying to use the OTA feature in the latest release on a Orin AGX devkit, following the guide at [Software Packages and the Update Mechanism — Jetson Linux Developer Guide documentation](https://docs.nvidia.com/jetson/archives/r35.3.1/DeveloperGuide/text/SD/SoftwarePackagesAndTheUpdateMechanism.html#updating-jetson-linux-with-image-based-over-the-air-update) to run the OTA using an Image and the sample rootfs, I’m not being able to get the payload.

This is the error at the end of the log at step 7:

I used this command to regenerate the image but I’m not sure if there is missing:

Any idea about what is wrong/missing?  
I tried with the sample rootfs.

NVM, had missing link to python,

> update-alternatives —install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python3.10 1

This solved the problem
