PVF evaluation software licensing failed

Hi,
I download PVF evaluation software(pgivf-624-std.exe) from web, and request evaluation license key.

I modify license.dat like this(C:\Program Files\PGI\license.dat ):
==begin==

Please do not change this file until you receive your permanent

license. Modifying this file may cause your temporary license to

fail.

PACKAGE pgi-pvf-standard pgroupd 6.2 xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

==end==

When I restart my PC, I got a error from “PGI License Server”. The server doesn’t run correctly.

How to I do for running evaluation PVF?

Hi Hamlet,

Can you start the license manger using “lmgrd -z -c $PGI/license.dat” and post the error? If the error contains personal information such as host names, please send a report to license@proup.com.

Thanks,
Mat

Hi Ken,

Please send your account and PIN number to license@pgroup.com. They should be able to get your license file fixed.

Thanks,
