According to the specs, the Q3200-RA OSFP ports support cables or connectors for 40/56/100/200/400/800Gb/s speeds (4x lanes). It’s positioned for “smaller-scale platforms or integration with existing infrastructures”.
But what OSPF cables or transceivers do I use for EDR? None appear to exist.
Thank you for reaching out to NVIDIA Community Support.
As a next‑generation InfiniBand networking product, the Q3200‑RA currently does not support direct connections to HDR100 adapters, EDR switches systems, or EDR adapters. However, you can connect them via an HDR switch using the following topology:
Q3200‑RA —(OSFP to 2xQSFP)— QM8700 (HDR switch) — EDR

Thank you. The Q3200-RA supports 40/56/100/200/400/800Gb/s speeds and the Q3400-RA only 400 and 800Gb/s. What use cases for the Q3200-RA low speeds then? And how?
“Each OSFP port consists of 4 logical InfiniBand ports, and can be connected with OSFP cable or connector for 40/56/100/200/400/800Gb/s in Q3200-RA, and for 400/800Gb/s in Q3400-RA.”
