Using a Quadro P2000 Mobile on a dell precision 5530 on Ubuntu 20.04.
Using driver 450, I cannot get it to communicate. When I run nvidia-smi I get the following response “NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”
Using driver 435, I can get it to communicate and it works as expected.
Not to sure why this is the case but thought I would raise it to the attention of the developers, and to save anyone else from wasting a day on this issue.
