Query Regarding omxh264enc input

Hello everyone

I have a question regarding omxh264enc that it is support both NV12 and I420 format.but i have seen in most examples always using i420 as encoder input format.so i want to know which is suggested format NV12 or i420 or any other.

Hi,
Both formats are good. I420 and NV12 have identical Y planes. For I420, U and V are separate planes. For NV12, UV is interleaved in one plane.
