I am troubleshooting a failure on a device that is connected to and powered by an AGX Orin through the 40-pin GPIO. Power is delivered via pin 4, 5.0 VDC. Is there any possible way the Orin will deliver more than 5volts from that pin under any circumstances?

Have you used the scope or meter to measure the voltage to check if it is stable 5V output from AGX Orin?

I am using the devkit. Jetpack v6.0. I have been measuring the voltage and it’s a stable 5v output any time the Orin is powered on, so I’m confused as to spikes like that are possible.
Do you connect any devices on Jetson AGX Orin?

Where do you get the spike?
No, there should be no spike. Why don’t you use a probe to check that first?
