[Question] How to open Isaac Sim UI in the future?

If Omniverse Launcher will be deprecated, and IsaacSim pip installation available, then how will I open an IsaacSim UI in the future?

  • just open a new terminal and type isaacsim.
  • or, run the standalone app via python script. For now, not every extension of a GUI Isaacsim is available in IsaacSim standalone app.

If you are in windows you can run the bat file, also we might add some light weight UI in future.

So the deprecation of Omniverse Launcher does not mean that Isaac Sim will be fully migrated to pip packages but will still be available as a standalone package? In other words, will I still be able to download a folder and run a script from that folder to run IsaacSim?
