Questions about Jetson T5000 QSPI NOR Flash: Protection, A/B Redundancy, and Flashing

Hi all,

I am working with the Jetson T5000 module and I have some questions regarding the QSPI NOR Flash that stores the Bootloader and UEFI firmware. I would appreciate any guidance from the community. My questions are as follows:

  1. How can we protect the QSPI NOR Flash to prevent corruption that could make the system unable to boot?

Thank you for any insights or references you can provide! I’m worried that it will turn into bricks! @WayneWWW

Could someone help me solve this problem?

hello Andyyyyy,

please refer to Update and Redundancy.
there’re two bootloader slots, it basically are shadow copying enables multiple placeholders. all of the placeholders but one hold backup copies.
