It is not the device tree to configure if you fail to flash the board with micro usb port.
Recovery mode and flash work are purely hardware problem. So please review your hardware design.
Make it more easier to understand, when board is in recovery mode, there is no linux kernel running. Without kernel, it is pointless to configure a device tree.
