hi
We found that there is a difference between the R36.3.0 version of IIC8 and R35.1.0, is there any documentation to indicate whether the internal pull-up resistors of the two versions have been changed, and whether the internal pull-up resistors of all IICs can be viewed and modified at the software level?
How do you confirm the internal pull-up resistors is changed?
In the case of our own carrier board unchanged, the performance of R35.1.0 and R36.3.0 versions is inconsistent, IIC8 can not communicate with our IIC chip normally in the case of 1MHz, in the R36.3.0 version, we remove the pull-up resistor on the carrier board to communicate normally, but in R35.1.0, we need to add a pull-up resistor to communicate normally
How can I read out the value of the internal pull-up resistor? Are there any registers or related software interfaces?
hi:
Is there any way to control this internal pull-up resistor by software?
There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue any more.
Hence we are closing this topic. If need further support, please open a new one.
Thanks
It seems the result as following:
R35.1.0: need to add pull-up resistor to get it work
R36.3.0: no need pull-up resistor and it work as expected
Is my understanding correct?
If so, are you trying to roll-back to R35.1.0?
Have you tried to compare the pinmux register for these 2 releases?
