I am seeking guidance on the appropriate firmware version for the Mellanox ConnectX-5 adapter when used with Linux kernel 5.15 (e.g. 5.15.179). Previously, the Changes and New Features page provided this information; however, it is currently inaccessible. The inbox drivers page still references this link, leading to confusion.
Additionally, I have encountered stability issues with the iSER protocol when using the latest firmware version 16.35.4030-LTS. Specifically, the iSCSI initiator experiences hangs and kernel panics under this configuration. Reverting to an older firmware version, such as 16.30.1004, appears to resolve these issues, suggesting greater stability with earlier firmware releases.
Could you please advise on the recommended firmware version compatible with kernel 5.15 to ensure optimal stability with iSER? Additionally, updating the documentation links would be beneficial for users seeking this information.
