Hello JerryChang,
I updated to the latest JP-6.2.2/r36.5.0, and during the process, I also noticed and corrected an error in the device name I was using: recomputer-orin-j401 → recomputer-industrial-orin-j401
As a result, the Jetson device was able to boot.
However, the boot process did not complete with the automatic reboot after flashing.
It completed with a manual reboot, but the cause is unclear. I tried flashing three times, and all required a manual reboot.
The following message was displayed:
A start job is running for End-user configuration after initial OEM installation (54min 57s / no limit)
Are you aware of such occurrences?
hello mori.ycb.c2,
it looks it waits for system configuration, please check your display output to complete it.
or.. please refer to developer guide, Skipping oem-config to create default user accounts.
Hello JerryChang,
Thank you for sharing the instructions on creating the default user account.
However, when performing the system configuration via UI, the display remained stuck on this screen.
The system setup UI only appeared after I manually rebooted. Is this the expected behavior?
hello mori.ycb.c2,
just for confirmation, you’ll need to run l4t_create_default_user.sh before image flashing.
or.. you may give it another try by sudo apt remove oem-config. so the files do not come back.
Hello JerryChang,
Thank you for your assistance. I will verify the user creation process when I perform the initial setup again.
Since the device is now able to boot, I would like to close this issue.
