Hi ,
I was trying to record data from a webcam, which could be previewed with the App “Cheese” on AGX. The camera was detected as /dev/video0 with a resolution of 960x544. The recording tools failed to launch because of the errors: no resources.pak, fail to parse rig file. I am attaching the recorder outputs(recorder_tool.log) and my rig file(usb_cam.json).
Could you provide more information about how to set up the recording tool and write a rig file for a webcam?
There is limited information in the “Recording tools” section of DriveWorks SDK Reference.
Appreciate the further information and suggestions!
recorder_tool.log (3.4 KB)
usb_cam.json (795 Bytes)

Dear @jeff.cy.chuang1,
The “no resources.pak” error can be ignored.
The supported camera sensors are at https://developer.nvidia.com/drive/ecosystem-orin#camera .

Please see if DriveWorks SDK Reference: USB Camera Capture Sample helps recording your case. Note that recording is limited to x86 only.

Hi @SivaRamaKrishnaNV ,

Thank you for the feedback.
Could you provide more information about how to decide the values of the fields in the rig file for the supported sensors, ex: the fields “parameter”, “properties”…etc. ?
BTW, could you also share the instructions of generating the binary file used in the field “car-mask”?
Or the rig file and car-mask binary will be provided by the sensor vendor?
Thank you

Dear @jeff.cy.chuang1,
I hear that you have separate channel for support.
Could you please use NvBugs or contact your NVIDIA representative for guidance on support.

Thank you for the suggestion!
I will try to get the guidance from NvBugs which is just enabled this month.
