Recovering from incorrectly flashed AGXi module

Hello,

During our carrier startup we accidentally used an AGX commercial XML rather than an AGX industrial XML.

This causes MB2 to fail to load as it expects the fsi partition, we tried to reflash with the correct xml, but then again MB2 tries to load and fails on being unable to find partition 21 (which seems to be the fsi again)

So I’m in a real conundrum here, how do I tell it to ignore everything and just reflash entirely from scratch as if it was empty? I’m not sure how to recover this module.

Regards,

Jesse

Reflashing the board should not care about what got installed previously on the board.

So it could be

  1. You still use the wrong file to flash.
  2. You didn’t put the board into recovery mode so you are actually reading a boot up log but not a flash log.

Hello Wayne,

Yes you would expect this to be the case, however it is not.

I have attached the bootloader and host flash logs.

ubuntu-flash.log (9.6 KB)

agxfail.log (3.2 KB)

Please

  1. At least give out what flash command you are using there. We won’t know how you really flashed it.

  2. put this module into NV devkit and let sdkmanager flash it and see if it can still get flashed or not.
