reduced notation for components of user-defined types

Hi!

Is there a reduced notation in PGF90 for accessing components of user-defined types?

Example: At the moment I have subroutines with parts like:

DO i = 1,a%b%c%d%e%NMax
a%b%c%d%e%Value1 = 17
a%b%c%d%e%Value2 = 123.
ENDDO

and I would like to reduce notation to something like:

WITH a%b%c%d%e DO
DO i = 1,NMax
Value1 = 17
Value2 = 123.
ENDDO
ENDDO

In PASCAL, constructions like this are common.
Is there a way to do similar things in PGF90?

Thanks and regards,

Arjan

Hi Arjan,

This looks similar to the Fortran 2003 ASSOCIATE construct. While we have begun adding some support for F2003 features, we have not as of yet added support for ASSOCIATE. Until then, you’ll need to type out the full notation.

Sorry,
Mat

Okay, I’ll check for your F2003 compiler…

Cheers,

Arjan
