With the newest beta driver, high pixel clock modes are finally supported (yay!). However, once the resolution is set any change (be it by xrandr or by changing monitors or ttys) leads to a complete freeze of the graphics system. The machine can still be accessed by ssh but not shut down or rebooted properly.

I installed Linux Mint 21.1 on my HP test system and connected 3 displays (2xASUS & 1 Dell) with resolution 2560 x 1440 and refresh rate as 144 Hz.
Rebooted the system and able to change resolution/refresh rate without any issue either of the display connected.
I performed above experiment with RTX 3080 and GTX 1080 as well but no luck in repro.
Can you confirm how consistent is repro at your end, reference video and bug report where it was working fine.
