Remote access with OpenGL support - Stopped working on DriveOS 10

Since updating to DriveOS 10, now running on Ubuntu 18, the tutorial for remote connection with vnc no longer seems to work.

After some reading, there might be a compatibility problem with x11vnc on ubuntu 18

What is your suggestion regarding using vnc connection with opengl support for running the samples from a remote pc?
