Hello Nvidia Team!
I’m currently attempting to render images to disk and noticed some unexpected behavior with rendering and the viewport.
If the movie capture window is tabbed alongside the viewport and is active, resolution settings will be ignored. I think this is because the viewport is inactive, and the render will default to whatever the viewport resolution is set to for the designated camera. If movie capture is a floating window, and the viewport is active, render resolution settings will be respected - you can see during a render that the camera will appropriately change to the desired resolution for rendering during the process.
Anyway, submitting this to see if this is expected behavior or a bug. I’m assuming that maybe when the viewport isn’t in view it’s a performance gain to just disable it.
