Hi,

I’m using the SIPL framework to capture an AR0231 sensor camera feed on a machine with DRIVE OS 5.1.6.0 Linux. Even though a custom configuration of the Image Signal Processing module can be set using the NVMEDIA_IPP_OVERRIDE_FILE environment variable, documentation for the parameters of the module is not publicly available, as far as I know. (Please correct me if I’m wrong)

I would like to request an ISP override file where all post processing and image enhancement functions are turned off as much as possible.

Functions which should remain in the ISP configuration:

  • RGGB demosaicing
  • Color component white balance weights
  • Basic value range mapping from raw12 to the target format (e.g. YUV) value range

Functions to be avoided especially:

  • Local and global contrast adjustment, sharpening
  • Color, saturation enhancement
  • Noise filtering
  • Sensor error correction

Functions to be avoided or minimized, in favor of manual, static control if possible:

  • Dynamic exposure control
  • Automatic tone/value curve adjustment

Thank you in advance!
