Hi NVIDIA team,
I’m a student at Boston University and I’m organizing Action Space, a student robotics hackathon on [DATE(S)]. Our teams will train policies in Isaac Lab through the Isaac Launchable on Brev, since most students don’t have an RTX GPU and can’t run Isaac Sim locally.
Project scope:
- Event: Action Space, 8 teams, about 40 participants, running for 40 hours
- What teams will do: train reinforcement learning policies in Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab for counter drone swarm strategies.
- Compute need: one RTX-class GPU per team (such as an L40S or similar) for about 40 hours each, so roughly 320 GPU hours in total
GPU cost is the main barrier for our teams. Any credits, whether per team or as a single allotment for the event, would let every participant work with NVIDIA’s robotics tools. We’d be glad to credit NVIDIA and Brev in our event materials and share what the teams build.

Thank you for considering this, and for making the Isaac Launchable available.
