Hi,
My DGX Spark has a Samsung PM9E1 4 TB NVMe SSD:
Model: MZALC4T0HBL1-00B07
Firmware: NXHB202Q
NVIDIA documentation states that DGX Spark storage is self-encrypting.
Can anyone confirm whether this specific SSD supports hardware-based AES-256 or AES-XTS-256 encryption?
If there is an official NVIDIA or Samsung document confirming this, please share the reference.
Thanks.

Yes — for the Samsung PM9E1 4 TB NVMe used in DGX Spark (MZALC4T0HBL1-00B07), we can confirm support for hardware-based AES-XTS 256-bit encryption and TCG Opal 2.0 self-encrypting-drive functionality.
For general DGX Spark references, the public documentation describes the storage as self-encrypting and documents the UEFI path for TCG Storage Security configuration (Hardware Overview , Security Tab / TCG Storage Security Configuration ).
Thanks.
