Request for NVIDIA NIM API Rate Limit Increase (40 → 200 RPM) – Hermes Agent Development

Hello NVIDIA Support Team,

I am writing to kindly request a rate limit increase for my NVIDIA NIM API account.

**Account Details:**

- Account Email: anuragjb2@gmail.com

- API Key ID : XzpT

**Current Limit:** 40 RPM

**Requested Limit:** 200 RPM

**Use Case and Reason for Increase:**

I am using the NIM API for personal development and testing of the Hermes Agent------an open-source, self-improving AI assistant. I have configured 10+ models (Kimi-K2.6, Qwen3-Coder, Llama, etc.) for specialized roles like coding, research, and general reasoning.

I am developing an autonomous, terminal-integrated AI agent workflow (Hermes Agent) hosted on Hugging Face. The agent utilizes tool-calling, iterative code generation, and multi-turn loops. Because a single task triggers rapid, consecutive, or parallel API evaluations, the default 40 RPM limit triggers frequent HTTP 429 exceptions mid-task, breaking the agent’s autonomy. An increase to 200 RPM will provide the required headroom for continuous development and evaluation

A single user request triggers multiple calls: model switching, multi-step workflows, and concurrent operations easily exceeds the 40 RPM limit, causing immediate 429 errors. This cuts conversations short, especially during coding tasks, and breaks the agent’s flow.

I am using the API strictly for personal, non-commercial purposes. An increase to 200 RPM would allow the Hermes Agent to function correctly and complete real-world workflows.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
