I’m a programming hobbyist from China, and I’ve been using the NVIDIA NIM free API for my personal learning and development projects.
Currently I’m working on the following:
• Building small AI-powered applications to practice full-stack development
• Experimenting with different models (GLM-5.1, DeepSeek-V4-Pro, Gemma 4) for various use cases
• Learning about prompt engineering and RAG pipelines
The 40 RPM limit has been sufficient for basic testing, but as my projects grow more complex and I need to iterate faster, I often hit the rate limit during development and debugging sessions.
I would like to request a rate limit increase from 40 RPM to 200 RPM for my account. This would greatly help me:
- Test my applications more efficiently without constant 429 errors
- Compare model outputs side-by-side for my learning
- Build more responsive prototypes
My API key is registered under a free NVIDIA Developer Program account. I’m happy to provide any additional information if needed.
