Subject: NVIDIA NIM API Rate Limit Increase Request (40 → 200 RPM) – Agentic Workflows in VS Code & OpenCode

Hello NVIDIA Support Team,

I am writing to request a rate limit increase for my NVIDIA NIM API account.

  • API Key ID (Last 4 chars): Xtg
  • Current Limit: 40 RPM
  • Requested Limit: 200 RPM (or the next available higher tier for individual developer use)

Use Case:
My usage is strictly for personal, non-commercial development. I am building and testing agentic AI workflows using the OpenCode extension within Visual Studio Code. A single agent task (plan → generate code → debug → refactor) can generate 20–50 or more rapid, sequential API calls, which quickly exhausts the 40 RPM limit and leads to frequent 429 errors. A moderate increase would allow me to develop and test these multi-step workflows without constant interruption.
