# Request to Increase API Rate Limit for AI Customer Service Chatbot

Hi NVIDIA Team,

I’m writing to request a rate limit increase for my NVIDIA NIM API account.

**Account Information:**

- NVIDIA Developer Account Email: [315977723@qq.com]
- Current Rate Limit: 40 RPM
- Requested Rate Limit: 200 RPM

**Project Information:**

- Project Name: AI Customer Service Chatbot
- Use Case / Scenario: Real-time customer support for an e-commerce platform. The chatbot handles product inquiries, order status checks, return requests, and FAQ responses. Users expect instant replies in a conversational manner.

**Expected Usage:**

- Estimated requests per minute: 150-200
- Estimated requests per day: 60,000 - 80,000
- Number of concurrent users: 50-100 during peak hours

**Why I need higher limit:**

- Customers expect real-time responses; any delay negatively impacts user experience
- During peak shopping hours (e.g., evenings, weekends), 40 RPM is reached within seconds

I can elevate this internally to the team, as many others have had similar requests, but we cannot approve rate-limit increases directly from the forum.

I know that’s not the answer you are looking for, but I will do my best to ensure forum posters are heard in the decision-making process.
