π§ Use Case Description & Reason for Increase I am an independent developer focused on learning and building personal pet-projects. Currently, I am working on building and exploring autonomous AI coding agents and multi-agent workflows.
Unlike standard chat applications, AI coding agents operate by breaking down complex programming tasks into multiple parallel thoughts, tool calls, and execution steps. When an agent debugs code or runs iterative test cycles, it automatically fires dozens of back-to-back API calls within a single minute.
With the current limit of 40 RPM, my development environment constantly hits 429 Too Many Requests errors almost immediately after initiating any agentic workflow. This completely breaks the agentβs execution loop and severely halts my ability to test and iterate on my local toolchains.
As an independent developer doing this for personal growth, I unfortunately do not have the financial budget for expensive commercial LLM inference providers. Access to NVIDIA NIM is an incredible opportunity for me to learn and build, but the 40 RPM ceiling makes agentic development practically impossible.
β Compliance & Commitment I want to explicitly state that this project is strictly for personal learning, non-commercial development, and self-education. It will NOT be deployed as a public-facing service, will NOT be used in any production environment, and will absolutely NOT involve commercial monetization.
I have already implemented exponential backoff and client-side request queuing, but due to the architectural nature of multi-agent coding workflows, a baseline of 200 RPM is essential for the system to function.
