“Hi @sophwats / Support Team, I am also blocked because Tanzania (+255) is missing from the phone verification dropdown. I followed the pinned instructions and sent an email to help@build.nvidia.com 36 hours ago but have not received a reply yet. Could you please check the queue for my registered email? oxtercreed06@gmail.com. Thank you!”
I am writing to request manual verification for my NVIDIA Developer account to access NIM APIs on build.nvidia.com.
The Issue:
I can’t complete the standard SMS verification because Russia +7 is not listed in the country drop-down menu on the verification page, and when I try to enter my phone number, the send code button is gray
Phone numbers I tried:
My current Russian number (+7 xxx xxx xx xx). The button is gray(I can send the full phone number)
My full UAE (+971) mobile number used for verification
Details of the issue
Screenshot of the OTP verification screen
The website accepts my UAE number and opens the OTP entry screen normally, but the SMS OTP never arrives, even after waiting and using the resend option.
Could you please help escalate this or advise what I should do next?
I am happy to provide any account information privately if required.
I am having trouble verifying my account on build.nvidia.com. I am not receiving the One-Time Password (OTP) required to complete the verification process. I have already tried contacting support via the ‘contact us’ form about two weeks ago but have not received a response. Could someone please help me resolve this issue?
I emailed help@build.nvidia.com on 22 September with all three items from your post: the registration email, the phone number I verified, and a screenshot of the error.
My account still shows “API Access Unavailable - Please contact support to verify your account access” on the API Keys page, and the same red banner appears on every page. I cannot create or view any API key. Organization: Resq_Heli, country: Armenia. I verified my phone number once during registration and have not tried any other number.
Could you confirm the email was received, or tell me if anything else is needed from my side? I can send the account details by direct message if that helps.
I am hitting the same wall from Kazakhstan, and there may be a systematic reason worth checking.
On the phone verification dialog the Location dropdown has 236 entries and goes straight from Jordan to Kenya — Kazakhstan is simply not there, so a +7 number cannot be entered and no OTP can be requested.
Russia and Belarus are absent from the same list as well, while Armenia and Azerbaijan are present. Kazakhstan shares the +7 dialling code with Russia, so it looks like it may have been filtered out together with it. Kazakhstan is a separate country and is not subject to those restrictions.
This also affects hackathon participants: NVIDIA credits were handed out to teams here, the Brev side works fine, and only the build.nvidia.com API key stays blocked by this step.
I have emailed help@build.nvidia.com with the account details as instructed. Posting here in case the country-list gap is something the team can fix centrally.
@sophwats Hi! I’ve sent an email to help@build.nvidia.com regarding phone verification issues (Belarus +375 missing). My registered email is hauehf3@gmail.com. Could you please check it when you have a moment? Thank you!
Title: NVIDIA Build / Developer Account Temporarily Blocked – No Response from Support Email
Hi everyone and NVIDIA team,
I am currently locked out of my account on build.nvidia.com with the following error:
“Something went wrong — Your account has been temporarily blocked. Please try again after 12 hours or contact support.”
It has been well over 12 hours, and the block has not lifted automatically. I reached out to help@build.nvidia.com via email on Friday (10/2) requesting account verification assistance, but I have not received any response or ticket update yet.
Could a moderator or support representative please assist with escalating this or checking the status of my request? I can provide my registered email address muhdaliaziz4@gmail.com and case details via DM.
