ROS opencv crashes

so I followed the guide on jetshacks to install ROS on the TK1: http://jetsonhacks.com/2016/06/23/realsense-camera-ros-install-jetson-tk1/

there is a convenience script that builds cv_bridge and vision_opencv from source to get around the 2.4.8/2.4.13 issue, and the realsense camera works fine, but when I launch stock ros nodes like ros-indigo-ar-sys or ros-indigo-ar-track-alvar they crash with:

it’s looking in the right location for the opencv libraries. I’m not sure where these errors are coming from?
