Route packets from Sw-A to Sw-B to Sw-A again

Is there a way to split or partition an IB leaf-switch such that it can re-route inbound traffic from one downlink port that would normally go to a destination on the same switch, and instead route the packet(s) up to a spine-switch and back down to another partition on the the same leaf-switch and then out the intended destination downlink port?

Hi David,

InfiniBand partitioning is a feature that allows network administrators to create isolated groups of nodes within an InfiniBand fabric. The communication between different InfiniBand partitions are not allowed.
