RPi Camera V2 doesn't work with SSH (PuTTy)

Hi,
I’m using the following command in order to test the V2.1 RPi Camera

gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc ! 'video/x-raw(memory:NVMM),width=3820, height=2464, framerate=21/1, format=NV12' ! nvvidconv flip-method=0 ! 'video/x-raw,width=960, height=616' ! nvvidconv ! nvegltransform ! nveglglessink -e

It works great when I’m using it from the Jetson’s terminal iteslf.

When I use PuTTy for SSH, I’m getting errors like:

Any ideas how to solve this?

Solution:

I used the

simple_camera.py

from https://www.jetsonhacks.com/2019/04/02/jetson-nano-raspberry-pi-camera/

Then I had a new error (what a coincidence…)

(python3:10836): Gtk-WARNING **: 15:44:22.062: cannot open display:

and finally I fixed that with

export DISPLAY=:0.0

and added that to the bashrc

Thanks for the update and sharing the solution.
