RTX T1000 8GB - RED HAT LINUX 8

Video card: NVIDIA RTX T1000 8GB
System: HP Z2, Red Hat Linux 8.10, Intel 13th gen i9 x86_64 CPU.

Which driver is correct for my system?

I tried dnf install by setting up ol8 repo and the NVIDIA script that ran put my computer in emergency mode.

I haven’t tried the run file. If I download it, do I choose Linux 64-bit or Solaris x86/64.

I currently have a limited NVIDIA control panel; it just shows ‘Application Profiles’ and ‘nvidia-settings Configuration’. nvidia-smi at command prompt says couldn’t communicate with the driver.

What is the correct procedure to install?

You want the Linux 64bit version.

Instructions on how to install are under the “Additional Information” tab on the download page.
