Run OS from SSD M.2?

Hi!
I’m starting into Jetson Nano, and I have a simple question: is it possible to run the OS from a M.2 SSD attached to the M.2 port into directly into the board? I didn’t find the answer in Google. Many things about USB, but nothing about the SSD.
