Runtime libcudnn depends on lstdc++

Hello!

The latest version of CuDNN runtime has undefined references to std::string. This makes it necessary to link with the system stdc++ library. There are cases when linking the system stdc++ is not desirable, such as having a tweaked STL. A previous version of CuDNN runtime did not depend on std::string, but was dependent on std::ios_base ctor/dtor, which was easy to stub. Dependence on std::string is troublesome.
Is it possible to fix this issue?

Thanks
Dima

You can always file an RFE (enhancement request) to communicate such proposals to NVIDIA.

Asking programmers not to use a common standard library may be a losing proposition, though.
