Sampler2D in VertexShader


is there a known problem that might cause the failing texture access in a vertex shader?

uniform sampler2D texNormal;
texture2D(texNormal, vec2(0,0));

Does not do the trick.

It does however, work in the fragment shader.


unfortunately, there’s a definite known problem – Tegra does not support vertex texture fetch. It is an optional feature in ES that must be queried before use. We expose our lack of support correctly.
